Budapest Park has once again been transformed into a real ice world, so that we can be reunited in winter and have unforgettable experiences together! Inside the Park, until 4 February, we now offer an even bigger skating rink of more than 2000 m2 where you can glide to your heart’s content! On the rink, which also includes an ice corridor, children and adults alike can skate with confidence!
And if you get tired, there are several hüttes, resembling mountain huts, offering hot drinks and winter-themed food, so you can relax and recharge your batteries for the next round of skating.
The whole area of Budapest Park is only accessible with a valid ticket, which also applies to accompanying persons.
With one ticket you can skate all day on the given day, from the opening of the rink until it closes.
Attention! You can only enter the premises once with your ticket.
Tickets are not issued for a specific day, so for example if you buy a ticket for the regular period, you get to decide which Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday you want to use it, until the rink closes on 4 February (except for the days between 22.12.2023 and 07.01.2024, which is a popular period).
To maintain the high quality of the ice, the rink is cleaned at regular intervals with an ice resurfacer to ensure the smoothest glide. During cleaning, you are not allowed on the ice, but you are welcome to join us in the hüttes where hot tea, mulled wine, doughnuts, churros, hot sandwiches and many other delicacies are awaiting.
Should you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to contact us at [email protected]!
All You Can Move SportPass is also accepted!
- During regular hours (Monday to Thursday), with an L-sized package, we can provide entry once a day, or twice a day with the MultiPass, starting from the GOLD package.
- During popular hours (Friday to Sunday, and school winter break), with an XXL package, we can provide entry once a day, or twice a day with the MultiPass, starting from the Diamond package.
Walking from the main entrance towards the skating rink, you’ll find the changing room to the left (our Jungle scene has been converted for this purpose) where you can take on and off your skates and other winter gears.
The cloakroom is located to the left after entering through the main entrance, and here you can store items that you will definitely not need during your skating session.
Large bags are not allowed on the rink, as they can pose an accident hazard. Please leave such items in the cloakroom.
If you and the kids need a rest between two rounds, or would rather play on solid ground while the older siblings are skating, visit the children’s corner located in the changing room!
We provide a space for changing nappies and feeding babies in a heated environment. The baby care room is located on the right after entering through the main entrance. Here you can be with your little ones in a separated space, in a relaxed environment. Please ask for your access card from the staff at the main entrance.
Next to the skating rink, you’ll have the opportunity to enjoy drinks that are either hot or help keeping you warm otherwise (tea, mulled wine, hot chocolate, short drinks, etc.) and of course food (including hot sandwiches, hot dogs, donuts and churros). This year, you can already rest in two hüttes, as the round bar in the centre of the first part of the rink has been also prepared for accepting guests in the winter.
After entering through the main entrance and turning left right away, before reaching the cloakroom, you’ll find the Park Shop featuring a new winter collection (hats, socks, sweaters, etc.).
Park Shop opening hours:
Friday 4:00 p.m. – 10:00 p.m.
Saturday 10:00 a.m. – 10:00 p.m.
Sunday 10:00 a.m. – 9:00 p.m.
and every day between 22.12.2023 and 07.01.2024, during the Park’s opening hours.
Outside the above-mentioned time slots, from Monday to Thursday, you have the opportunity to try on and purchase our merchandise products at the Ice Penguin Rental Container. This year, we welcome you with a special winter collection, so check out our new winter accessories!
We operate cash-free also in winter, with the only exception being our ticket office.
If you don’t have your debit or credit card with you, you can request a Festipay card and have cash put on it at the ticket office and at the “ice penguin” rental shop (between the cloakroom and the changing room). The deposit fee for the card is HUF 500.
Festipay cards issued during the 2023 summer season have expired, so if you have such a card, please contact the Park’s customer service at [email protected].
